Has this ever happened where a "spinoff game" has not only surpassed the original game (Forza Motorsport) but has become arguably the undisputed king of the genre? Forza 4 is a good game and the fact that its keeps getting better is scary.

I don't don't understand what the big stink is about. Sony needs Playstation while Microsoft doesn't need the Xbox. This is reflected by how they do business. They need to monetize everything they can and there is nothing wrong with that.

This is no surprise.
It plays like a better polished PUBG that is faster with smoother animations. The graphics are good and very clean. It's faster pace makes it more appealing that PUBG in my opinion. I played the beta on the Xbox One X. They are going to have to tighten a few things up before release day though.
Yes it does and I haven't purchased a COD game since Modern Warfare 2 (Battlefield guy) but Blackout is fun. PUBG is dead the day this comes out. Whatever Dice is doing with BFV battle Royale they better bring it.

I don't understand what the problem is. I am an Xbox fan myself but it's Sony's system--so they can do whatever the hell they want to. Why are they getting demonized for not wanting cross play. They have sold enough systems where you can find a match on any game. It would be kind of neat to have Xbox players vs Playstation players for bragging rights but again it's their system and they can do what they want to with it.
I think that they made a mistake going with a WW2 setting. I own all of the Battlefield but currently I play Battlefield 4 more that I play Battlefield 1. Battlefield 1 is a good game but it just doesn't have the same feel as Battlefield 4 and I just think that a modern setting is what most players want. The weapons suck in the world war games.
That Max Payne was an underrated gem last generation. This graphics were awesome.

Halo 5's multiplayer is some of the best ever created for a video game. They got that locked up. The campaign is what many complained about. personally it was okay with me. 343 are caught between 2 worlds. You have the Halo loyalist who want very little change vs. desire to get new people on board with the game. They are apparently taking their time with the game because based on past games Halo 6 should have been released this year.
Far Cry 5 is game of the year for me.
